Analysis and strategic documents
Some engagements end not with a campaign but with a document somebody makes a decision from. What our product costs at thirty retailers. Whether entering the Slovak market makes sense. How much could be sold if we invested. These are clearly bounded paid jobs with a tangible output — and clients pay for them precisely because they are not tied to advertising afterwards.
What we deliver
- Mapping retail prices across dozens of sellers
- Checking adherence to recommended pricing, with a seller × SKU matrix
- Identifying sellers outside pricing discipline as material for negotiation
- Market and competitor analysis in a given sector
- Potential studies and economic impact models
- Material for investment decisions
- Formally publishable documents, not slide decks
Pricing analysis is a commercial tool
A manufacturer selling through distributors and e-shops usually has no idea what their goods actually sell for. Recommended prices are recommendations, and some sellers ignore them — which drags the whole market’s price down and hurts those who comply.
The output is a seller × product matrix showing deviation from the recommended price, plus a list of who systematically undercuts. It is not a marketing report; it is material a sales manager takes into a meeting.
A study is written to hold up outside marketing
A document meant to support an investment decision is read by people who do not accept marketing jargon — owners, finance directors, sometimes a bank. So every figure carries its source, and what is measured is kept separate from what is estimated.
That also means writing down where the data is weak. A study in which everything works out is useful for nothing except confirming a decision already made.
Frequently asked
- Is the analysis conditional on further work together?
- No. It is a standalone job with a fixed price and a delivered document. Plenty of clients commission the analysis and then work with their own team — which is a legitimate outcome, not a loss.
